It's not hacking, look at the code of the ads.
It's BidVertising, they're making money off of it.

I was in the computer lab on campus between classes, and was like "...........shit, if rabid porn appears all over my screen, this is going to become very awkward." Please make it stop.

If you're using Firefox, try a free add-on called Adblocker Plus. I also had to disable Java. Seems to be working so far. I tried setting IE's popup blocker to it's highest setting but some of the ads still came through. I don't believe that Frank's doing this for profit. This shit will only drive people away from this site.

It's like trying to focus on the meat of a short post with a bunch of Las Vegas style neon flashing at me.

Google chrome users, search google chrome adblocker, install it. It takes off ALL the ads, you still see the one after the first post but its a blank box, and another blank box in the upper left hand corner, and thats it for ads.

Glad the sites back up and running. Also noticed the thread accusing LL of doing this for profit has disappeared. I'm surprised the person making the accusation hasn't disappeared as well...
