What to buy - AI AE, AW OR AX

Makes sense. I don't have a lot of storage options right now, so I'm stuck using the case for awhile. But it's very dry in Utah so I'm not worried about moisture. But I will keep it in the back of my mind.

But as far as decocking the bolt goes I've been poking around and it seems most people don't worry about it. Consensus seems to be that you can leave the bolt cocked for a hundred years and it wouldn't hurt anything.

You really should look into better storage options. A case is no secure that putting it in your closet and most foams hold moisture. You should look into getting a safe, that's a very expensive purchase you made to leave it in a hard case.

At the time I purchased mine, I was able to buy any of the set ups but chose the AE model in 308 with folding stock and 20in barrel. For what I do, I can't imagine needing anything else. I have custom rifles at the house from Beanland and GAP and non of them shoot any better than the AI. All of them except for one is in the legacy stock though and they all shoot good. I was very suprised by the accuracy for it not being a custom gun and costing less than the others.
