I'm inclined to assume that he knows how to spell his name.
And the email address I have for him spells it Boucher.

I fully realize you are aware of who Rick is.
Lindy, you're a "right-fighter" and can't stand being corrected, even if it's in good humor! I wouldn't normally worry about it, but you first posted to correct me, and now you can't seem to accept the fact that you might have been wrong in doing so.
I posted on this thread with the idea of helping to answer a question about Leupold reticles and in doing that I quoted Rick Bowcher. You almost immediately posted to correct what you percieved to be my misspelling of Rick's last name.
If you're so "inclined to assume that he knows how to spell his last name" and feel the links that you posted are the last word on the subject, then have a look at these -

Rick's post is the second in this thread. Note his e-mail address, and it isn't spelled Boucher.

Again, check the second post in this thread.
http://www.snipercountry.com/hottips/ColdBoreShot.htm
You'll find Rick's post as the fourth of this thread.
http://www.snipercountry.com/hottips/Flinching.htm
Rick's post is the also the fourth on this thread.
http://www.snipercountry.com/hottips/Parallax.htm
This time it's the third post of the thread.
http://www.snipercountry.com/hottips/M24SWS.htm
Rick's post shows up as the fourth of this thread.
I could continue with these, but even you probably get the picture by now.
So we have two possibilities here. One - that Rick's last name is actually Boucher but he purposely misspelled it Bowcher on his e-mail address, or more likely, the person who entered his article on the website accidently misspelled it.
I Googled both "Rick Bowcher" and "Rick Boucher". Guess which spelling the SOTIC Instructor came up under? I invite you to do the same.
I initially said that this is too trivial to argue about, and that's true, but your smart-ass reply just pissed me off.
In any case, I'm done.
