What's everyone thought on the accu tac hydro bipod

Innovative idea, and props to them for trying something new. Im not the target demographic, so its not of massive interest to me.

Could this be a new take on the farrel joystick fudd-class bipod thing ?

Why?

If I was going to shoot benchrest I'd simply buy a micro adjust rest for half that price.

I can't see carrying that in the field, where my bipods live.

ELR shooters. They are not allowed to use the benchrest micro adjust rests.

Meant neither for BR nor for field use.

I’m also not in their target market, so cannot judge based on that. I like the concept. It’s well thought out. It remains to be seen how it’s received by both ELR shooters and the rules committee.

Seems like a big risk for a small unsure market?

I honestly don’t know. Since I don’t compete in ELR, I don’t know the exact rules. Maybe they are well aware and developed it with input from those that do. Niche markets can make money too, especially if the price is ‘right’.
