Stock and bottom metal are different. Actions are the same.
I believe the largest difference would be the lack of a floor plate on the ADL. The blind magazine configuration of the ADL might not work with the BDL short action stocks.
the reason i asked is i want to rebuild my rem .243 bdl and change the wood stock over to a 700p hsp stock and rebarrel to a .308 and im trying to figure what kind of problems im going to encounter
on 2nd thought im also tossing around the idea of a b&c a5. my rifle is going to be a hunting rifle first and precision rifle 2nd. ive read alot of threads about glass bedding the 700p stock and some say it does help out accuracy and some say it doesnt do anything because of the aluminum bedding block. whats the truth? im on a tight budget and i want to spend my money as wisely as possible. any advise on which stock might suit both my needs better
