Figured one of the hide's famous petrochemical engineers would have some insight.
The food is actually pretty good (for fast food). Not your typical heat lamp crap.Convenience chain called "Sheetz"...
I think that answers everything. Don't eat the microwave burritos.
That's what I was thinking.<snip> unless maybe it's stupidly low octane gas mixed with ethanol to bring it up to 88?
We have Sheetz local. They advertise the cheap stuff but never seem to have it available. Sheetz is a real shithole, and almost always a dime higher than anyone else. I just filled up at Sam's Club for $3.79, Sheetz, which I affectionally refer to as Shits, is $4.09In SW Pennsylvania at convenience chain called Sheetz is selling 88 Octance gas for like .30 cents cheaper than 87. What's up with 88? Is it no good for engines or what?
I call Sheetz "Wal-Mart Lite"
Don't leave out Royal Farms, we have those and WaWa both. Sheetz up in PA seem a lot nicer than the ones in VA and WV...maybe it's the location and its people. How about Wawa? Gotta be some Jersey folk here.![]()
UNL88 is 15% ethanol, while typical gasoline is 10% ethanol.
This would be my guess.UNL88 is 15% ethanol, while typical gasoline is 10% ethanol.
Also, Wawa > Sheetz.
Fixed it.We don't get 88 here but the taxes are generally lower on higher ethanol content fuel. Because "farm subsidies"..
QFT..E50 blend gives me about 85% the mixed MPG of E10 93 octane…UNL88 and its E15 content isn’t going to cause a notable decrease in fuel economy.
