Simple enough question, but something that I think a lot of people would be surprised in knowing; or finding out the hard way after trying to hump their rifle around hunting all day.

Please list the caliber/make of rifle and how much it weights, unloaded with optics. If you know the weight, but it includes other material items (bipod, supressor, etc) please mention that.

Re: What's your bolt gun weigh

Ok, Hill Country Rifle in 308 with a Zeiss scope at a little under 9 pounds and my AI AW with a S&B and bipod at about 15lbs. Obviously I hunt with the Hill Country.

Re: What's your bolt gun weigh

700LA 300winmag in a HS Precision stock with their bottom metal. Built by Mike Bryant.
Krieger 11 twist 28 inch plus break Remington varmint contour.
Weights about 10 pounds with Leupold competition scope. I love doing target shooting while walking with it. Pic a rock at an unknown distance and try and hit it.

Re: What's your bolt gun weigh

never cared about weight so I have no idea...shooting a 700PSS in 308, cheap outers bipod, cheap eagle optics scope...guessing about 12lbs.

Re: What's your bolt gun weigh

After humping and dragging an M24A1, M24A2 or a M24A3 for over 20 years with also rucks of 30 to 60 pounds most of the time, rifle weight does not mean squat to me anymore.
