What's your fighting knife?

Busse Hell Razor 2. Just one option among too many big blades that I've been collecting during The Covid Year....

depends what loadout, but gerber mk2, gerber prodigy, s&w homeland tanto, spyderco matriarch wave...they all do time. edit to add glock fieldknife.

^^I was thinking it but was not going to be the first to go there with the bayonet theme.
Unless your round count is zero, to be effective however, it still violates my recommended social distancing rule .
Don't have a holster for this setup.

A few from the load-out -room that would serve one well inside 6 feet.

- Chris Reeves Neil Roberts Commemorative with M92 companion
-Chris Reeves customized full size Green Beret
- Chris Reeves Aviator, no compass on the end!, but room for matches; FN 5.7 just in case
- Ontario Knife Company Ranger Series, serious kit
- SOG, SEAL full size & pup, when SOG was the right kit
- HK makes a serious threat straight edge
- Emerson fixed blade (with NSW#) is one of the best knife / locking sheath combinations I know of
- Microtech out the front could be handy

It was made by my old Sifu several years ago....it is a highly concealable Pilipino style karambit. It is Damascus steel and can get very sharp. It is designed mostly to rip tendons and major arteries in a close fight. When in your hand...you can barely see the blade. It is one of those things that you train with...and hope you never have to use for what it was made for. If I'm down to just using that for defense....shit went sideways quickly.

I would not classify myself as a knife fighter even though I have some fighting knives. I did display a pocket knife with open blade in the 8th grade to convince some bullies that they were pursuing a very impolite and impertinent course of action at my expense, which would cost them, in no small measure, some loss of hemoglobin.

Anyway... I got these Kailash blades today.

Same here, except it was with one of these Old Timers, not sure which one; grandpa gave me a different one each year for Christmas, then started with the Buck knives gifting.

All the kids had pocket knives at elementary school back in the day, no foul play use intended. No metal detectors, no detention hall, no school suspension for possession etc. Taking guns to school was for the Sharks & Jets gangs.

I carried an Emerson CQC-7 (drilled and tapped lefty) in my support side pocket opposite my duty weapon for the last many years before retiring... best knife ever IMO for giving one a little more stealth/retention than any fixed does just hanging out there off a duty belt, but comes out damn quick and easy for aiding in weapon retention if things were to go that way.

I've got cool autos from Microtech, Benchmade and others, but the Emersons are still the ones that actually go to work everyday. Simple, solid, the Emerson wave is ingenious.

Only one from them in my stable, but its part of my gear, and means something to me.

Very nice blade from a great maker and guy!
Yes. He’s awesome. I will add that the knife is still with me and hair popping sharp. It has the most symmetrical and clean angles on the grind and the epoxied handle over the thick steel makes it an absolute beast. Not a damn thing this knife didn’t do for me in the field. Even did plenty non-knife stuff with ease (I cringe thinking of what this poor blade went through). I got a very heavy patina on it and ended up cold blueing it (after pics above) just over what was already there to help hold oil for me in the field and I never got rust.

I have these two Emerson wave folders: not sure I would categorize them as a fighting knife, although
good size for tactical pant pocket carry.
Limited commemorative Blue Line w/ titanium liner
Jungle Commander w/ HKP30 secured in a Safariland Border Patrol ALS holster

Not the knife you keep in your pocket everyday. The one that goes on the rig.

Pictures please. If you want to add some reasoning behind what you chose, that'd be great too.

I'm gonna hold off on mine just now. It's nothing special. I'm hoping it's serviceable.
This is a foldable pocket knife, fox 599 XT. Great little knife on a budget. For me it’s only got one use.
It’s intimidating to face, and quick!
