Awesome sunset last night. Calm before the storm I guess
A better view for @Bryan W M Halfway back to the 740 yard steel with the rotary cutter mowing as I go. Kinda a mute point as that walking path will fill in with snow this winter. Enjoy it while it lasts I guess.
High moisture corn harvest in full swing exposed the ammo eater at 655 yards. Had to shoot it first before the walk to trim and clean it up proper. Still need to haul down and hang the 4” round and diamond.
Yesterday morning my mom calls and says Benni isn’t breathing we are taking him to the ER. My dad had him in the bathroom steaming him to help him breathe. So I finish getting dressed and get the wife out the door and we head to town 50 min drive. Found out this time last year I can do it in under 30 min. I get to town drop the wife at work and get my phone out to call my mom with for an update. They are still at home he’s doing better . I explain to her there is a difference between NOT breathing and having trouble breathing. We take him to the doctor he has croup. Taking 3 medications for it. He’s doing great today. Last night with the nose spray was fun. He found out that dad can and will make him take it. I had to hold him down both arms and his head as the wife sprayed his nose. You would have thought we were cutting off a leg the way he screamed . Hopefully tonight goes better.

My nephew who is a dwarf kept getting croup for a long time (years). Never fun for my sister. All of the er people knew them. He is ten now and doing much better.

Took my momma to the beach Sunday. First time she had ever been to one she could walk out and put her feet in. She is 67
Hank had to hold his boat after his bath. Fell asleep on me.
Had a close call with a table saw today. I've been a carpenter long enough I guess I had started to get a little careless. Saw gave me a little kiss just to remind me to pay attention.

Safety saw is neat. Wouldn’t even have had that nick. Just had to buy a new 80 dollar insert haha

We had a Saw Stop at the last place I worked. Never any close calls but everyone on the trim crew wrecked at least one of those cartridges. If you put anything metallic, including your tape, near it for a few seconds after you shut down the saw, it will fire. Company didn't want to stock spares so it would shut down production sometimes until someone ran to the lumber yard to buy another. After the 4th time we got the office straight on why we needed to keep a few spares on hand.

Only to have our 0050 flight out cancelled after 90 minutes on the tarmac, in order to begin the retrieve luggage/get airline-paid-for hotel/taxi/room/rebooking for 24 hours later flight- road race in a shitty, err city, that make NYC and LA look like friendly versions of Mayberry. Fml. This is how your life gets stolen

Niagara last night. As many times that I have been to Buffalo for work I have never made it out there, working during the day so I had to take what I can get. Impressive, but the commercialization was gross.

Neighbor called at 1100 today. They were a man short and it’s a busy time of year. They are large cattle feeders. EVERY kernel of corn they grow is fed. Patriarch of the operation claims he’s never sold a kernel of corn in his life as a feeder. Enjoy a steak fellas. My view today...
This ^^^ is considered “high moisture” corn that is run through a roller mill (releases the starch and sugar) and blown into a vertical silo or packed into a bunker. It’s wonderful feed...
I enjoy it. Change of pace from my day gig. I’ve always enjoyed running nice equipment. Busy (unloading on the go), doing your best to do a good job for them, expensive piece of equipment (stress), etc... I’ll be back at it tomorrow

Making bread, supposed to be a dad/daughter think after she made brick biscuits last week but she bailed….
Absolutely beautiful day in the hills today. No wind made for great reflections off the water.
Didn’t know F&P made appliances, thought they did medical supplies....the more you know.
Also don’t go appliance shopping, but I did work in medical stuff. Guess they are like Siemens and do a bit of everything.
