I carry everyday except when flying. You get used to it being there & you miss it. Keep feeling like you forgot something.
Don't laugh but as I get older I recently switched to that small north american arms 22 magnum. revolver. you can just put it in your pocket, Dress any way you want. Its like it's not even there. Not a lot of firepower but still something and I think most confrontations would be up close and personal so aiming should not be to much of a problem.
I was told at very close range the .22 mag has as much punch as a .380 not sure how true that is but hopefully I'll never have to find out.
Been carrying for 14 years now and thank god have never even came close to bringing it out.

I open carry most everyday and everywere. I sometimes conceal carry also. But Whenever I am out I am 100% of the time armed.

Such bs. All of a sudden I become a second class citizen once I hit campus. The VT massacre wouldn't have gone down like it did if students were allowed to carry concealed.

</div></div>Don't worry,I think my life is worth more then the Les Bear.That's why I carry it. I try to keep my piority in line of what's important Some time being cheap can get you or a love one killed.Something to think about.

Agreed for the most part,
Although I don't think someone has to spend Les Bear kind of money to get a reliable self defense gun... just something to think about as well. Nothing against your gun at all- wish I owned one.
I do agree that you can't put a price on yourself or someone you care about however.
I think the bottom line is that if you are found to be in the "right" while using the weapon, it should (at some point- when the investigation is over) be returned period. But that's another whole topic altogether.

</div></div>No, you don't need to buy a Les Bear to define your self, I have S&W's six shoothers and colts 1911's. Have carried all of them at one time or another.They run well for me.It's the LB that I'am most comfortable with. Also,the one I train the most with.

Anytime that I am awake. At night it is on the nightstand. You got your ccw for the reason. You never know when you might need it.

I carry a few times a week usually. I have my airweight 38 appendix carry, have 1 I keep in my Explorer.
I'm full time college until December so I can't risk getting caught. I live in a real quiet town of about 12,000 and I guess it just doesn't seem likely to need it. I will ccw to the store if I already have it on but only if it's already on me.

I carry all the time, where allowed by law. Even in my home, my car, and good neighborhoods. I take it off to shower, or if I drink a beer, that's it. I don't go into banks, I use the drive-threw. I don't get in trouble so I don't have to go to court. I don't really care for bars.
Home invasions can happen. Also when your in that good neighborhood and you don't have a firearm, that might be that one time in your life when you actually need it. You never know where a crime that is meant to harm you or your family is going to take place!

I carry nearly everyday that I am not on base. I go back and forth between a Glock 29, and a S&W M&P 340. It depends on the weather, and what I may be doing that day. My firearm is about as important as grabbing my driver's license or putting my pants on before leaving my home.

Try to carry whenever I go out, even when walking in the neighborhood. Never know when something can go down like loose pitbull or even coyotes. Also, haven't been so comfortable after seeing a mountain lion in the river bed behind my house last year.

Every day, every where the law permits, God forbid it ever be needed, But I know the one day that I decide to leave it in the safe or in the truck, That will be the day some moron decides to put in his application for the Darwin Award and try to hurt me or my Family!!

Every time I leave the house, and sometimes in the house when I'm playing ninjas
For a long time, I used to carry a Glock 19 in a Crossbreed exclusively but in the summer months it became a little cumbersome tuggin down my mesh shorts so I swallowed my pride and now if I'm feeling lazy or not wearing clothing conducive to a 21 oz Glock , I just dump a PF9 in my pocket and let me tell you, you forget how much of a delight it is to carry a TRUE, compact 12.7 oz pistol. Though I hate carrying a gun without a holster, the Kel Tec gets a pass because of it's 26.6 lb DAO trigger (it even says so in the manual)

Casinos? I wonder if that is legal in Pa? We can't carry in a school, church, court house and prison property...never thought about the casinos!

Anytime I want except to work as that's a federal installation.
I bought this LCP and it's so light, thin, small - makes carrying easy.

I'm in PA and didn't know you couldn't carry in church. I do and will continue to until the Big Guy weighs in to tell me otherwise. I figure some whack job might think it's a easy target. Plus I just feel naked without it and who wants to go to church naked.

I carry everytime I leave the house, even when in the shop working on guns...it does clank against the pew in church but quite a few others carry on Sunday also...you have to get used to it...

If I'm out of the house it's with me and alway no matter what if my gun safe is open because you never know who is going to walk in when you are working on or cleaning your guns

I fall in line with just about everyone in this topic. If I leave the house, it's with me. No one ever expects to be in a situation when they will have to defend their life and I don't want to be empty handed if that situation ever arrives for me or my loved ones.

When I had a CCW, I carried all day, everyday, when legal. I lived in a rural environment where I didn't know when I would need it, or whether I would be able to get back to where I stored it when I needed it at a later time.
Now I am in an urban environ, and I don't have a CCW anymore, so I don't carry at all.

if you know ur goin somewhere where ur guna need a gun dont got there or bring ur rifle. that being said carry your pistol everywhere you go even if you never need it do it to at least support your right to do so

All day, every day. Only exceptions are when I'm drinking or out of the country.
I know many have said it here before me, but a weapon that's not with you does you absolutely no good.

I have lived in 4 different states in the past 3 years so I move my firearms between states frequently and I make trips to the range or the woods pretty much every weekend. I got a CCW just to cover my ass with LE. I'm military so a ticket or arrest for something neglectful on my part would set a bad example and could end my career. Now i know what i can and cant do with my guns when i transport them and i'll have the benefit of the doubt because i have my permit.
I have a safe full of guns and I've never carried a single one of them and I dont plan to.
I may change my mind one day, maybe not.
So I guess I fall into the category of "if not dont do it at all"
My choice and my 2 cents...

Used to carry every single day.
Got sick of having the extra weight of a Kimber 3" 1911 on my belt.
Now I carry sporadically. I need to look into a lighter and more compact firearm. 1911s aren't particularly light....

The post office gun free zone is annoying and retarded, though.
Require the citizens to disarm because a few "Gubment" types went postal? Great solution. I don't recall anyone shooting up a Post Office 'cept...Post Office workers.

I carry every time i go across the river.... I'm 20 minutes from MO and 20 min from Indiana where i grew up.... Just biding my time until i get to carry when i leave the house every day.

Doubtful that Illinois will have CC in the near Future, thanks to Chicago and all the do gooders. Can not believe we (Illinois) is the only state without CC. All the State of Ilinois elected officials, i.e.,Gov, L. Gov, Sec of State and Treasurer and Attorney General are against CC.(They have their own bodyguards to accomapany them everywhere-SERIOUSLY>>>
