You seem to have made up your mind that carrying everyday is insane but that carrying when you anticipate going somewhere dangerous isn't.
If you've made up your mind...then just keep quiet and go spend some time posting in Maggies. Otherwise, if you have a valid reason/point/argument that doesn't involve you just generally disagreeing with people, then make it in a well thought out and concise manner.
I believe that if I'm going to carry a gun, I should carry it whenever reasonably possible (note the word reasonable...if I'm skydiving naked, I won't have a gun on me). I will carry whenever reasonably possible because I know that I cannot anticipate any bad action through just location or time. To me it's a matter of being prepared for the unexpected. Yeah, boyscout motto and all that..."be prepared". Same reason that I keep road flares, a medical kit, and spare tire/tools in my car. I drive thousands of miles without issue, but if there is an issue I want to be able to safely deal with it.
You seem to have the belief that you can anticipate bad action through location or time. If that's your entire logical argument, then you've made it and now you should move on. If your argument somehow extends beyond that, or if that was not what you meant to convey, then you should think through your argument appropriately and clearly state it in an understandable manner.

So, since my opinion is different from yours you think I should either a) keep my trap shut or b) leave. Hmmmm, makes a lot of sense. You obviously run the place now. I bow to you……….. You've made your point, now return to the video game forum.
I never once claimed that I could predict the future and yes bad things, potentially life changing bad things, can happen in good places to good people. But then the lottery, another potentially life changing thing, is a fools game for which I don't regularly participate. Facts are that the vast majority of LEO's who's job description is dealing with criminal element won't ever fire their gun at another person. That and that a vast, vast majority of people within these borders will never suffer from a violent crime let alone one they could of prevented with CCW. Who knows what the exact odds and differences are but do you really think the life expectancies of CC'ers is any better than non gun owners. Like I said, carry a gun if you will, I know I will when I want or feel even the slightest need, but the world does not come tumbling down if you leave it at home once in awhile. Maybe your post relayed that, I don't recall reading your post. But some of the post (too many to address individually) did not and spoke pure nonsense and gibberish.
