I pulled a real bonehead move this morning. In my excitement to finally mount the scope to my new GAP M40A5 I used a T10 driver to remove the Badger Ordnance ring cap screws. It obviously didn't work and now I have one stripped head screw on my rings. I'm sure I can get it out but I need to know where I can buy a new screw. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

One other question: The front rings on the USMC scope rings have 6 screws. Can I temporarily mount it with just 4 screws until I get the new screw?

Just call Glenn at Badger and ask him for some more screws. In all probability he will send them to you gratis.

Tightening screws in proper sequence is important. If you mount scope using bubble levels you will notice at the beginning that every time you tighten a fastener the bubble moves.

You might want to get a good torque screwdriver for the tiny screws and a good torque wrench for the 1/2" screws. Torque specs are 15 in. lbs and 65" lbs respectively.
