I'm looking at the S&W MP15-22, ruger sr22, and rem vtr 597. Out of these which is the most reliable, accurate, & dependable? I want opinons from first hand experience owners of these guns. I'm undecided on which to buy. If there is a better one than what i've list let me know & why.
Thanks,

Personally, if you have an AR platform already - I would go with a dedicated AR22 upper. Just swap uppers and you're ready to go. Your AR22 would have the controls in the same place as your "real AR"(s). The only potential "problem" is that NONE of the AR22 uppers' like notched hammers. Below are photos of my LWRC M6A2-S Upper on a Pre-Ban Lower ("Thank you, California") and my dedicated AR22 upper I built-up from Tactical Solutions and LWRC parts to mimick my LWRC M6-A2-S.
