Rifle Scopes Which base

Hello,first time poster with some questions.

I have a BSA ffp scope 4-14x30 from Midway that will go on an AR15 flattop. I have been reading that some people here have owned them or the Falcon Menace and wanted to know if they were on a AR, what was used for a base.

I would like to keep the ocular as close as possible to the charge handle so I'm thinking 1 piece offset base. I have looked at some but the trouble is the center section around the turrets is about 2.250 long or more, and not found any that have enough space between the rings. Also, by using the modeling clay method (which worked good) I have determined it needs to be 1" from the base to the bottom of the scope.

Take your pick, depending on what you wish to spend. I have 2 of the GG&G FLT and like them alot. One is holding a Vortex Viper 2-7x32 and the other a SS 3-9x40. If your scope tube is 1" diameter, you'll need the delrin scope ring reducers.

I'm with fireEMT5 on the GG&G. I have two myself. One hold a Leupold LR/T on an AR10, the other a Burris XTR on an AR15. I've had them both about 4-5 years now. Love 'em

GG&G,and the SWFA Precision I'll give them a look.
I looked at the S.S.A.L.T. There's not enough space between the rings.
