Off topic of this thread, but, I think the scope should be changed to the 3-9x SS instead of the 5.5-20x. The majority of LE engagements are 75 yds or less, and the 5.5-20x may limit the field of view at close range. Just my opinion...

looks wise, im split between the t2a and t4a. i like the rear portion of the t4a and the forend of the t2a.

Tom is about the nicest guy I've ever spoken to, I can't imagine he wouldn't be more than happy to have you stop by and see some stocks first hand. He's a class act.

I did just that about two weeks ago when I I was in Kansas City. I dropped off a rifle to GAP to be re-barreled and have the action trued then called over to Manners to see if I could stop by. I was told to come on over (it is a quick walk across the street). I was debating between the T2A and the T4A. I really like the look of the T2A but after getting to handle it I went with the T4A which I am a little more comfortable with. It will be my second T4A and my first with the mini chassis.

I find the T5 to fit me the best. The crew at Manners did a great job designing the T5.

What is everyone's experience on Manner's wait times?
If it is the 12-14 weeks, my T-4 should be ready in a week and a half.

They will call you, 2 weeks before its ready to ship. That being said, I have not been called yet and I have a T4 @ 16 weeks and a T5 @ 12 weeks.
I had a buddy order a T5 2 weeks before me and he got his stock 3 weeks ago. Its a crap shoot.

Here is the setup as you are talking about supplying the SD guys. This is the MCS-T with your 5-20XSS on top with Seekins hardware. I also recommend you go with the 20" barrels as well.

Yes, mine is a Savage 10PC, but it will at least give you a really good idea of the setup you are talking about.

One T2, one T4 and one T5a.
I like them all but the T5a with Mini Chassis may be the best.
But I shoot AICS chassis on most of mine.

T2A preferred for that application, but did you ask what they might prefer? I'm talking about the actual shooters that will be using them.

I like the T4 and T5 for tactical applications, T3 for hunting. Adjustable is nice, but adds weight.

I voted T4. My hands are too big for the thumbhole/pistol grip style stocks and the T4 just fit me very well. Same goes for the McM A4/5.
