Rifle Scopes which one of these scope rings

hi all
new member from australia, just wondering if you guys could help me pick scope rings for my new rifle, im building a rifle to shoot longrange 500-1000yards (its a savage 10BA .308, scope is vortex viper pst 6-25x50)

out of these rings, which one would you pick (or similar to design)
badger USMC M40A3

im sorta leaning towards the badger, im not fussed being aluminum or steel

I run badger on my stuff and have never had any complaints, that being said I had a rifle that came in once with the weaver tacticals and while waiting on new rings to come in I never had a problem with them holding the scope. I would say just by looking and feeling they are not even close to what the Badgers are though.

I have steel TPS rings on mine, like the design, they're well machined, and don't break the bank, little heavy, steel will be, supposedly their customer service is lacking steel's less likely to have issues. I also have the Weavers and Burris XTRs, not currently in use, they're good, not quite as well done of a finish if it matters and very large, no functional issues. I don't lap rings, the XTRs left the faintest of marks on the Bushnell they were holding. If you get the Weavers make sure you get the Picatinny ones, they make Pic and Weaver spec versions.
If I was in the market now I think I might go American Rifle, different design and have read good reviews on here. You'll likely get lots of votes for the Badger and Seekins, both of which get high marks on this sight. I don't think you'd go wrong with any of the ones listed, you should obey torque specs and sequences on any, but its even more important with alloy rings.

For range work the Burris rings are solid and hold good for many shooters I know even doing precision long-range 500 and 1000 yard target work and F-class games. If your life depends on it pay up for the Badger or similar.

Of the ones you listed I would go with the Badger. I like Seekins personally but I just bought a pair of ARC rings to try. If your rich, check out SPHUR rings. If you're on a budget I would say that TPS would be a good choice.

I have Badgers and Burris. Burris are not bad but I like Badgers better

Seekins precision makes the vortex precision matched rings that would look good on the vortex scope. Mine is set up that way.

Badger Ordnance: I just had my rifle run over by a Mazda 3 two weeks ago. I had to readjust my zero .1mil left. I was impressed.

I would go this route. Honestly,knowing what I know,even if I didnt have anything to do with Vortex I would still go this route. Our precision matched rings(seekins precision) are made to fit our scopes as close to perfect as you can get. You would also be able to get them from the same place you got your scope from there in Australia(assuming you bought it there).

Seekins, all the way. Love the low-profile vs the Badgers. Bought a pair of the Seekins used here, liked them so much I bought a new pair for second rifle.

i wouldnt mind getting badgers but the savage 10ba is heavy mofo already, dont want to add more weight lol

and one more question, anyone know if i need to get a 20MOA scope rail to shoot comfortably at 500-1000y, my scope has 65 MOA of internal adjustments

I have the Badger 20 MOA Base with the Seekins Vortex rings on my 30-06 precision rig. I have zero complaints on either and am seriously considering the same configuration for my hunting 30-06 in the future.
