which scope level?

Re: which scope level?

I have a vortex and a USO I like my USO all the levels work but The fluid in the vortex is to thin and the bubble travels way to fast which really makes it hard when your whatching it also in mine the bubble sticks that accuracy 1st looks nice I like the levels that hump in the center which slows the buble down a bit

I saw one of these on a rig a while back and must say they look sweet, not just look but work well. The USO is good for rail mounted but I have seen to many that were not true level.

Re: which scope level?

I am sure the OP has figured out which level to use by now but I wanted to add a comment about the Accuracy 1st scope level. Very well built. Stable not to twitchy and a good company to do business.

This,

Re: which scope level?

I had been using the USO fold out - However, I wanted to align my reticle to my level so that the gun mount was out of the equation.

I just switched to the accuracy 1st level, and like it a lot more over the fold out. It's always just right there, and tied to the optic, not the rail.

I would recommend the flatline ops, folding model. </div></div>

One more for Flatline Ops. Solid product and if you want the ACI you can mount thier strong arm right off the articulating levels. Makes for a nice little kit.

Re: which scope level?

This thread has been quiet for a while but are there any comments on which of these levels is best from a prone position?

I see a lot of guys having to lift up their heads out of position to check level. I would prefer something I could check while in position.

Re: which scope level? (Horus ASLI)

I have a Horus ASLI (Angle, slope Level Indicator).

It measures slope angle in degrees or cosine and has a level. You can mount it so the level is on top or below. It can be had with 30 or 34 mm. scope mount ring (mount on either side of the scope)or a Picatinny rail mount. They come with a rubber cover and mounting ring (or bracket) in a metal box.

So there you have BOTH a level and angle indicator in one.
Around $70. + shipping from Horus.

Re: which scope level? (Horus ASLI)

Yes i use the fixed USO bubble level and have had no problems what so ever. I also have the swivel level they make and also have had great results. They are easy to mount and dismount and also have the aluminum cap to protect the bubble when not in use...then screws on the other side when you want to use it.

So can anyone chime in on how this works for a "lefty" I don't see a lefty version on the Accuracy First website, great company though.

I spoke with accuracy1stdg a few weeks ago. They aren't making the left handed verisons ATM but they are considering it. More to follow in the future..

On that though, can anyone recommend any viable options for lefties?
