Whidden vs matchmaster dies

I have the Whidden set. I chose that set b/c for the price it came with the pack of bushings instead of having to piece meal the sizes at an added cost. I have no experience with the matchmaster.

shipping was really fast with Whidden and customer service has been amazing and VERY responsive.

My only complaint would be the micro bullet seater. the adjustments dont entirely transmit to readable results on the seating measurement. It isn't 1 for 1. I can't go down 1 thou and see a 1 thou seat increase. this could VERY well be my shitty press that needs to be replaced though

Do you find the seating depth is repeatable? I can live with it not being 1:1 as long as it’s consistent

I have both. I really really like whidden non Bushing sizers they seem like the nicest for money that I’ve tried, but man o man do I hate their seating die, it’s not that it’s inconsistent, it’s not smooth like Redding and the top screw thing seems dumb, I’ve sold all of mine. I have the match master seater for my gt and the window thing is weird, but it works very well. I use a Hornady non bushing sizing die for that caliber, it’s been extremely consistent. I’m pretty happy with it, but if someone is selling a 6gt Redding comp seater I’d be on that like a rat on a Cheeto.
