You can buy clamping gas blocks if you're paranoid about "pounding it on". YHM has a steel slotted one that's like 30$.

I just want my rifles to be easy to assemble/disassemble. I have plenty of barrels that shoot well and I don’t have to use a hammer or heat to get the gas block on.
I ordered my first WOA barrel recently. Ive always used Larue before but Larue was taking forever to ship (they even turned off their phones for a while around black Friday) and after checking out WOA I said screw it and ordered one for their high power / match pre ban service rifles barrels in 20".
I'm really interested to see how this one comes together.
I have a tano LMT MARS-L that's been sitting in my safe forever and some other parts so I'm thinking a "50 shades of fde" type rifle - maybe with a trigger tech diamond trigger. It took me forever to find a tano dust cover and forward assist!
Of course I might just run the upper on one of my other lowers for now and save the LMT but we will see.
Anyone have a tano atacr they want to donate to the project?
I'm never going to financially recover from this month.
