What kind of terminals are you seeing with this pill? I shot an eight pointer at 200 yards. Good pass through...probably too good, not much expansion. The exit would was pretty small.

Shot a coyote as well....seemed to pin hole there as well. I'm thinking of going to another projectile...A - Max or Berger hunting VLD. Thanks. Jim

I guess according to what I have heard that is a speed thing,

above the threshold, they tend to do nasty styff with game,

we are talking about the 6,5 mm version right?

Where'd you shoot the animals?

I've seen 150 Nosler BT's pass through the 2nd rib behind the shoulder with tiny exit wounds. The deer barely bled at all. It dropped in 20 yards though.

The 150 Nosler BT's are a great bullet too, but if it just hits super soft tissue it needs to be moving more than 3100 fps at the impact to really tear things apart like a varmint bullet would.

took a big 9 point last year a hair over 250 yds w a 139gr outta my GAP 260, one big jump and piled up quite dead.

I had good shot placement on both animals. The Coyote dropped in its tracks, the deer ran about 50 yards.

I am getting around 2850 with RL - 15 before I start getting pressure sign, I really need to try some other powders to rev them up a little faster.

I shot a yote at 600yds on my range one day with a 90gr Scenar 6mm and it ice picked him. He was trying to bite his self and ran off, never found him. Switched to amax, no problems since.
