We do parkerizing. But there used to be a place in Plano TX that I used to send my stuff to that did a very nice jub. Problem is I don't remember there name or number, maybe someone here might know where I'm talking about.

Ever think about doing it your self could be fun and if you mess up then just send it out cost you more but it could be fun

There is a process that is better than parkerizing which is called a melonite QPQ process. This process not only blackens your product it also increases lubricity, prevents rust, and helps make your parts wear resistent. Great process and i know someone who can do the process cheap and do a great job at it. The is a 1 week to 2 week turn around and they are very dependable. His name is Rodney Lanier Call him at 870-236-6920. Just ask For Rodney. You wont be dissapointed!!!

Do not melonite your 1897.
Try Texas Armament in Blanket Tx see if they will do the job. I have had done many 1911's there.
