Please tell me if the chassis is drilled and tapped for a cheek piece. Would like to go from 1.0 to 1.5 (cheekpiece. I dont have the rifle yet.)

    Thanks

From my experience with a 1995 (not sure if they're too much different) I don't really see the need for a cheek piece. The one I used was perfect height for a 5-25 S&B, and I have a pretty small head. However, I don't remember seeing any drilled holes for a cheek piece, and I've been around a good bit. I'm sure someone can provide more details though as I don't personally own one.

No, they are not, but you can send it in for an upgrade if you wish. Stacey was offering upgrades and it really doe not take very much work to do, you just have to buy the different panels and cheek piece.

I have alot of experience with aw rifles. I have never owned one this old. I would just like to know if the 93 vintage is drilled and tapped. Also if you use a 1 inch height ring your sight picture will be perfect with your gun, and if you use a 56 mm scope it will be perfect clearance.

Thanks Beenjammin thats what I was looking for. I guess Ill give the bridgeport a little work out

    Hi Rich,

I have a 1994 AW that was factory fitted with the adjustable cheek piece. Interestingly enough, the actual cheekpiece is a solid unit rather than the hollow type one currently issued. Let me know if you want pics. Yours being a 1993 may not have the holes ? Would be really interesting to find out.

    Cheers,
