Who has gone back to a Harris?

thread should have stopped here...Rob01 and Terry Cross agree...case closed

"Rob01: " If your rifle moves from a slight load then you aren't loading but pushing the rifle. Loading is a very slight pressure. Almost no more than just putting rifle into shoulder. Never had a Harris move from this. A lot of people overload and need straps on mats and spikes to hold the rifle. You shouldn't need all that."

100%

you see guys ramming the poor bipod legs so they are curved sometimes.
tip the rifle forward (ass up a few inches), touch your shoulder to the butt and then come down to the firing position..thats enough.
should be able to fall asleep back there and wake up in the same spot.

in classes over the years when they had to close their eyes for 10-15 seconds and then reopen, they wondered why they were way off target

The Pro Clamp and Badger pivot units look like they would be a good addition down the road. I have B&C Medalist stock with a 'T' rail - just need to get a Picatinny rail for that. I'm shooting F Class T/R so pan capability really would be an extra I don't need but tilt is a 'need to have'.
