I'm thinking of the sharp thing that removes material from, e.g., a chamber. I think it's called a dreamer, and I hear the Chinese make the best dreamers.

Is it really deboning of a turkey neck or is it decartilaging it? Either way, the neck meat makes the best gravy when mixed with cubed boiled turkey livers.

Today's our delayed Thanksgiving. I just deboned the turkey neck in the pre-gravy, and I'm on enough of a break to say that people pay to know that every t is crossed, every i is dotted, and the intent of a document in each part and as a whole is unquestionable. As I said before, it's force of habit.

You would have to know what you are doing to do it on purpose.
My language skills are not good enough to make mistakes on demand. Mine are either "fat fingers" or legitimate misspellings (normally phonetically).
I am so bad that 50% of the time spell checker flags it as a non-word but can not tell me what I was actually trying to spell.
I would imagine only Veer_G has any idea what my papers in high school looked like (pre-pre-spellchecker). In school I was told to look a word up in the dictionary if I did not know how to spell it. How in the fuck are you supposed to do that.
I could go into more detail, but suffice it to say that language works in my brain about the same as calculus does in others.

Well, I pan-fry my turkey liver in a little butter, and then deglaze with brandy, but yes, in essence you're right.

The gravy is quite a complex matter requiring a diverse number of elements coming together

1. Neck, giblets, heart, gizzard, liver cooking slowly with onions and spices. This is the single most important part of the base
2. Addition of stock/water in perfect proportion with more spices cooked until all the neck meat and other organ meats are done. All of it is strained at this point. Neck meat is SHREDDED from the bone/cartilage and fed to the waiting dogs with the other meat. In Jerry's case, he would eat it.
3. Continued reducing and making a roux to die for. Perfect in its consistency and color is key.
4. Adding roux to base and further straining...this constitutes the base which will be mixed with the pan juices.
5. Pan juices need to be deglazed with wine....strained twice through two different chinois. Then it is degreased fully and mixed with the base.
6. Further reduction to get the correct thickness (Coating of a spoon)
7. Final adjustment of spice and final straining through a fine chinois.

It is silk in your mouth...and some of you may know that feeling

Please use your dictionary to see that these words have entirely different definitions. Many major manufacturers use this misnomer in their advertising, I expect this abomination to become accepted usage in less than ten years.
