Other than Harris; Who makes a bipod that attaches to sling studs? I'm looking for a quality bipod (like an atlas). I've searched most of the top manufacturers and I can't find any. I know I can switch the sling stud to short section of pic rail but that is not the solution I need. It MUST attached to the sling stud.
Thanks

What is this adapter you speak of? Does this attach to the existing sling stud? I don't want to remove the existing sling stud. I know I can, but for this application am trying to to use the sling stud.

sort of. here is an example from accu-tac, but there are cheaper options.

Okay. Thanks all for the adapter and the Magpul ideas. I will look more into them. Is there anyone else making a Bipod that attaches to the sling swivel stud?
I find it interesting that more companies don't offer it. I know a Pic rail or Arca rail is better than a sling stud attachment, but wouldn't the market ask for sling stud attachment? I believe there are way more hobby shooters that might buy a higher end bipod if it had a sling stud attachment. Shooters that are not gun gurus, like most if us, and won't change thier sling stud to a pic rail beacuse they don't know they can or are scared to change something on thier rifle. More people (maybe not precision shooters) would buy better bipods because they can simply slip it on and tighten it. Until more companies offer this the default is Harris. Damn.

Anyone tried the Sinclair Tactical Bipod?

In my experience, people tend to fall in one of those two groups - not both. If you're going to drop $300+ on a bipod, another $40-60 for a rail to mount it to (and allow for QD capability) is pretty insignificant.

Tiptop is an improved Harris clone that comes with most of the upgrades you would add to the Harris. Has pan, tilt, and a tension lever. I've got Harris, magpul, tiptop, and some cheap clones. I shoot the Harris and tiptop the most.
