Gunsmithing Who would you recommend for simple rebarrel job?

Have an old six digit receiver Remington 700 in 22-250. Just for today, I would like to rebarrel it into a .243 with a 1/8 twist and then bed the factory stock.

Simple small job. Who can do it? No hurry on getting it back.

chad is a good choice, roscoe, mark (SAC), ga precision, APA, etc etc there are a ton of good guys here.

Simo Hayha, if you're in south Mississippi then look up Don Geraci in Independence, La. His turn around time is usually one week for something like a simple rebarrel. The man does wonders with 700's.

$200 for a std barrel, $250 for fluted. Add $25 if its a CRF type action.

Returned in about 10 days.

Figure a little shipping in their too.

I can highly recommend gundoktr, he has done about 6 barrel installs on my F-class rigs and they all have shot extremely well.
