There are margins, and there are margins. $2-3k for a suppressor is a pretty nice margin. They're cheaper in Europe, yet labor and general business regulation is more costly there. I know ATF has a big hand in the small size of the suppressor market, but surely prices are a major factor too. The attitude from some shooters that only worthless posers use suppressors doesn't help.

They are cheap in Europe because they are cheaply built. I have several clients from GB and they tell me all the time that the suppressors over there for the most part are made from cheaper grade materials then what is offered here in the states.

I would like to see a list or link for Suppressors in the 2-3K range for anything under a 50 BMG ? We are NOT in Europe and most Europeans do not own Semi-Automatic Centerfire Rifles. Many of the more expensive cans will handle full auto or a sustained rate of fire and/or cartridges in the 300WM-338LM class.I would love to see a Ti 5.56mm can for < $900 that will take a FA 100 rd mag dump and keep on ticking ? I don't doubt the Europeans make some very durable cans also, but,at a "Bargain Basement" price ?
MECH1 said:Form 1 your own. If you can build it your self that would keep the cost down. Online-metals.com has all the materials you need to build a very high quality suppressor. But with that said you need a approved Form 1 first!!! All NFA rules apply. [/quote
I'm looking at 60.0 each for the 5 I'm going to build when my form 1s come back
Does not include the nfa tax stamp but if Utah new sb11 bill holds up till the supreme court I won't need a nfa tax stamp
