Suppressors Why is Dead Air key-mo hard to find?

Brownells lets you back order the DA factory ones (though Hansohn usually has a better price)
If you need a brake and can't wait on the DA factory ones, JMAC makes a few Key-Mo ones with single to three or four chambers.
Here is their 2 chamber brake:

I'm getting ready to relaunch the Plan-A™ promo to include the XL. Some program details willl change. I believe we are planning a hefty discount on the adapters and opening up the qualifying cans to include several that have the 1.375x24 tpi interface.

I was going to recommend the Griffin Plan "A", but they beat me to it.
The Key-mo is cool gear, but it's heavy and expensive. Depending on your use, the Plan "A" could be a better option.

For Flash hiders, Son of Liberty Gunworks has their NOX flash hider that's kinda neat. It has ports on the top and right side to drive the muzzle into your support hand (assuming right handed and semi-auto type shooting for the most part).
While that doesn’t look like a bad option, any idea how the Dead Air warranty would be influenced by a not OEM muzzle brake mount?
Supposedly Bergara was making the brakes for Dead Air and they were having a lot of issues with QC and consistency (not surprising with Bergara) and the supply issues are because Dead Air is transitioning to the new supplier.
Interesting--i too noted they were in short supply and am having a heck of an issue with something in my Dead Air system. Definitly made me pull of my brake and send it back with the can for RMR.

Lucky for me another hide member had a couple extra 1/2x20 brakes and I now have one heading my way. Just hope I don’t have any QC issues as it is new but not purchased from a retailer.
From what I heard just after SHOT. Dead Air is splitting away from Bergara and they are having to setup their new manufacturing facility. So production is behind and parts are slow coming in.
The Nomad L would be a 20+ ounce can with the Keymo and break. Not to mention it would be upwards of 10 inches with both the keymo and break installed. What is the benefit over a TBAC 9?
Kind of, Dead Air is an engineering/design shop, they used to partner with BPI (although they weren't owned by them) for the manufacture of their cans. They have had some production and QC issues with BPI of late, and switched to a new manufacturer for their products starting in December, I believe. Apparently DA will be more involved with the manufacture than they used to be, but that's why F4s for older cans said BPI under manufacturer, and they apparently now say KG Made. Mageever has posted about the changes and reasons over on ARFCom a few times of late.
The Sons of Liberty NOX is a great hybrid FH/Brake for 300BLK and 556. I run one on my SBR’d MCX. That micro brake looks interesting, I hadn’t seen those before.
Ugh after I sent out my Sandman for RMA, I was hooking up my Ghost-M and guess what--no pistons to be found (at least in the 9mm or 45 threads pitches). My experience with DA has been quite frustrating so far. I guess now I know why there were on sale.
Capitol has the .45 piston in stock. Todd from DA said that everything was getting restocked soon as they switched manufacturing as previously noted.

Yeah apparently I was supposed to get a piston when I picked mine up, but my LGS conveniently "forgot" (sorry venting/threadjack).
I think the new manufacturer for DA is coming along. We got a bunch or breaks and caps and direct thread adapters in over the last month. Suppressors have been flowing nicely. KeyMo is still taking a long time. Got the ASR based KeyMo in last month, and we are hoping for the universal KeyMo (aka Omega) to be here before Thanksgiving.
This is Todd Magee from Dead Air. I'm one of the owners and chief engineer. First off, I want to apologize if our accessories are hard to find right now. It's very difficult to get machines and qualified vendors up and running, but we've massively increased production and we're just now starting to catch up. With the change from Bergara production, we're very integrated into the production process. We have an engineer on site and we're very tied into the supply chain and we're seeing massive strides in quality, production capability, and manufacturing technologies. I'm personally really proud of how far we've come!
