Why SH so slow this morning?

I don't do pornhub...but something is going on. I refresh my browser/empty cookies very regularly and have no open tabs. Cookies are ramping up even when nothing is being open/played.

On my end, the slowdown is mainly this site.
It probably matters where the actual servers are located - and how much denial of service/hacking crap is going on between here and there.

I ran a virus scan thinking pornhub got me again...

Never do "adult research" or "dark research" on your primary computer or phone.

Setup a separate system that runs Linux on it and use that for all your deeds.
If you are really going into the sewer, on your separate system use a linux live boot USB of something like Tails and make sure there is no storage drive on the "research computer".

Left off the first couple of hops because you don't need to know my IP
See hop #4 ? 494 milliseconds is gigantic.
Open cmd type "tracert snipershide.com" (w/o the "") and hit enter, wait for it to run.
It's known as a trace route and shows where the slow connect is.

The asterix (sp?) mean it's a time out on those connections.
Can't say how long a time out is....varies by machine and how you have it setup.
Figure at least 1500 milliseconds, good, safe, generic value.
Hop #6 on your route is the bad guy on the block.
Site seems all happy and shit now though.

I'm pretty sure it was Verizon or some facility that Verizon uses (such as DNS or CNAM or ??) as I had trouble with other significant and popular, sites.

Any of you folks who were experiencing slow response on another network other than Verizon?

I noticed it was slow also. Figured it was just my poor beat up phone. I'm also on verizon. Mostly the Hide but prime video was slow yesterday for me. Youtube and the rest of the internet has been okay. Phone service is spotty. I've lost service completely the last couple days in places I never have trouble.

Pretty good solar activity over the last 24 hours. It wasn't a direct earth facing shot but north America took a pretty good hit. We also lost power yesterday for no apparent reason.
