The real answer is ZCO's are probably more scope than most need, especially if they just make the occassional trip to the range. A bit of pride of ownership and show off. Even after they sell, they can still say they owned a ZCO.
I bought mine after looking through a few at Hat Creek. The glass, to me, if far superior to the S&B 5-25 I was shooting, not to mention a better reticle and no tunneling like the S&B.

They suck, but because I love the shooting community, I'm willing to buy them all for 10 cents on the dollar so they others won't have to suffer the inhumanity.
Lol. Rifles come, rifles go. My zco has remained. Everytime I think about selling it I look through a Leupold and I decide to keep it for another year.

The reason you see them moving is mainly updated reticles/features that come out. Guys want newer (and rightfully) better reticles.
Personally I wouldn't buy anything new from ZCO or TT for about 2 more years. Then you will see the non cucked FOV versions come out, and you will really see the prices of legacy alpha optics drop.
S&B is 25 year old tech. They look like a window covered in shit compared to the modern stuff.
Back with a vengeance I see…. Am happy with my cucked up SB 6-36 but would be curious to see what happens after the patent.

I disagree with this. I've bought just about everything and sold what I don't want to keep for any kind of various reasons.
I've sold plenty of better scopes because I've decided it wasn't worth keeping it for one reason or another. By the time you get into TT or ZCO territory you are deep into diminishing returns and a cheap, by comparison, g3 Razor will do everything it will do.

To me it seems there are a lot more NF 7-35’s than ZCO’s listed in the PX. The ZCO’s tend to go quick. It’s the optics game, buy it, try it, sell it, then chase “perfection” by buying the next latest and greatest piece of glass. Rinse and repeat.

When a S&B is listed in the PX they usually don't last long.
You mean the 15 scopes they have made so far LOL.
Why don't we see more March and Minox scopes for sale? Maybe because no one buys them either.
Side by side with a ZCO or Tangent, a S&B 5-25 looks like dogshit. We have ran them in harsh conditions and its not even close. The difference in brightness alone will be the difference between seeing a target or not. Reticles are about as bad and dated as you can get. Tunneling is not really an issue but its still there. The only people who gush over S&B are casual/uninformed shooters who don't know any better. They heard the name years ago when it was the top dog and still think it has some mythical status. They still live in the past.
S&B used to be a market leader. Now they are another follower. Maybe the 6-36 will end up being a decent scope. Like their LPVO, they wait until everyone else innovates (should have seen S&B engineers cumming their pants at USO booth years ago when they released their 1-8 DFO), then comes out with a comparable product years later, at S&B prices. The 3-27 was a flop, the 5-45 is a dud and they are still selling more 5-25 than anythng else becuase they havent made any real improvements in 2 decades. Meanwhile everyone else is just lapping them. You can keep your S&B.
What harsh conditions have you ran them in Nick?
My reference was in relation to the S&B 6-36..
I own and use Tangent, ZCO , S&B ...The new S&B 6-36 is a very very good optic....far improved over the old 5-25.... At present its the best optic i have used!!

I think there are more for sale in the PX because new turrets and reticles are now available.
I've heard great things about the 6-36 Schmidt. However reticle choice is extremely limited. Also, there is only one distributor in the US,and no US service center if you have any issues. Vortex, Kahles, Swarovski, ZCO, Nightforce, all have service centers in the US if you happen to have an issue.
Edit: I was incorrect about the service center. It looks like they still have one in VA.

The other dealer, who had a conex full of S&B optics proceeded to dump their scopes at cost due to S&B North America not enforcing MAP. Dealers like myself got caught with optics that couldn't be moved without taking a loss for about 12 months. Many US dealers stopped carrying S&B after that and S&B NA ceased to exist shortly after that.

Kahles service is in Austria. At least that’s where mine got sent. Swaro North America helped facilitate the trip, but repairs were done overseas.
Service is a legitimate factor to consider. I’d have to look it up, but my Kahles was gone for 2 or 3 months IIRC for repairs. I recently had one of my ZCOs converted to NLE, and I think it was 10 days door-to-door including weekends.

I found it listed on their website. Looks like I was wrong about the service center going away.
S&B USA used to handle all the S&B dealers in the USA. I was told they are no longer and the one US distributor now handles dealer sales.
