Hello Everyone,
I have a Remington 700 PCR in .308 and it measures out 2.9385 while my mag can only load 2.815 without feed issues. I have been doing load development and comparing accuracy when loaded to mag length vs twenty thousandths off the lands and the latter has been considerably more accurate. I would like the ability to load from mag but still get all the accuracy I can out of the rifle. Is there a way to fix this problem? I figured if I purchased a new barrel I would be able to correct that. Is that a good assumption or should I go down a different route?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have a happy new year!
