Will a Ruger American barrel fit a Tikka action?

The threads are the same pitch and diameter but tenon lengths are likely different. The Ruger barrel might be okay on a tikka due to the barrel nut and having a variable shoulder.

Screwing in and being properly chambered for are different things. If its a barrel nut then I believe it could be made to work. If its shouldered then no.
