Resurrecting this older thread for an update.
I totally get that an AI isn’t going to make me a better PRS shooter, and my original post heading was really kinda rhetorical.
I do believe that it is a better tool than the rifle I have been using in the past matches.
Anyways, fast forward to today, and I am now the proud owner of my first AI. I’ve set the AT-X up with an AXSR stock, full length bridge and top rail (fyi- the original factory short 20 MOA action rail fasteners were a bitch to remove. Localized heat was needed to loosen the thread locking compound and remove them without stripping).
I’ll be looking forward to seeing how it handles in the local matches this year.
