Will Sako TRG 22 in 308 factory take off work with a 338 Lapua?

I am going to buy a take off from A Sako TRG 22 which is in 308 caliber and wanted to know if it will work on my TRG 42 338 Lapua?

Take-off what? Muzzle Brake? Yes, they are exactly the same.

I use my brake on both. Have one trg 22 and one 42 in 338 LM.

I should have been more clear that it is a factory muzzle brake from a TRG 22. Thanks for the answers as I will now get it.

I have the factory brake. I got it with my trg 22 but works just fine with the 338.

If unsure, measure the hole diameter and make sure it's larger than thre .338 The thread is the same.

If you go to the Beretta website, the TRG muzzle brake part #S5740412 is designated TRG 22/42, same part for both rifles. Hope this is helpful.
