I've tried all kinds of gear for hog hunting, but nothing has worked as well as this set-up for me.

This gear with some 110gr Barnes TSXs will get the job done!!!!!
And most important piece of kit, wind direction powder..............I use a Bic lighter after dark.
First hog of 2010, a nice 192# (fat) boar. Note the 110gr Barnes TSX exit hole, entrance was in the neck, pretty darn good penetration in my opinion! The shot was from about 100yds so my impact velocity couldn't have been much more than 2150-2200fps. Load was 110gr TSX over 31gr A2460 for 2325fps MV out of my 11" bbl..
