Will a winchester model 70 bolt fit into a 670. Also will a model 70 blind mag stock work for the 670?? thanks

If the 70 is a push feed and same length action the bolt should fit. Some 670's have a 2 position side mounted safety like a Rem 700 and I'm not sure how that will work since the 70 has the safety on the bolt.

Be very careful. The early 670 doesn't have the antibind slot in the bolt like the pushfeed M70's.

Guys, FYI, there are two versions of the Win 670. The plain or early 670 has the Rem type safety. The 670A1 (the later 670 version) has the Model 70 type safety. I have both a M70 and a 670A1 in long action. The bolts are interchangabe (in that either bolt will fit and fully close in either reciever). Now I have not switched bolts and tried to fire either weapon in that configuration nor do I plan to as I have no way to check headspace.

thanks guys, my 670 has the bolt safety and the bolt looks just like the model 70. I'd figured I'd ask and see what you guys thought.
