Wineries around Central New York - Recommendations?

I’m going to be back in Central New York for a few days this week and I’d like to bring my Mom out to a winery for her birthday. We’ll be traveling from around Constantia/ Central Square area. Thinking something around the Finger Lakes unless there is something nice closer. Would be nice if it had a decent restaurant, but charcuterie board is fine too. Would like a view.

Any recommendations?

There are a couple at the Finger Lakes with charcuterie/lunch.

McGregor Vineyard is a nice one and is on the eastern side of Keuka Lake.

Bully Hill is on the west side of Keuka Lake and they have a place to eat there. Their wine is very sweet, I think. They have an awesome view of the lake/valley below.

Penn Yan is a nice town, too.

Can’t really recommend any of the wineries specifically we would just stop at them as we drove around the lakes.
Watkins Glen is always a nice hike and the wife always like to stop at The Wizard of Clay Pottery. In Corning, Market St.
had some decent restaurants.

Buddy of mine got married while living in Ithaca, and they did a wine tour of the area as a couples wedding shower. There are a bunch of wineries in the area. I can’t recommend any specifically, but you shouldn’t need to look to hard to find a few.

This is where Mrs. FatBoy and mother of FatBoy wanted to go. Technically, we didn’t go to the finger lakes but it’s close enough and was a wonderful property, excellent service.

I must say, reds were very, very good. They had a grill and wood fired pizza. Great food, and a full bar outside the tasting room. They have some shit the girls lived called Giggle juice. Nit sure how Disney isn’t suing the fuck out of them but supposedly is delicious.

I'm from NC and now live in upstate NY. There is more agriculture and conservative good ole boys and gals here than any where else I've ever lived.

I grew up in Constantia. I couldn’t move back at this point. Upstate is pretty and fairly conservative. The people are nice and there seems to still be a sense of community . However, the fuckery from NYC and Albany continue to ruin the state and they’re never going to have the numbers to stop it. Same shit in WA and Oregon. Only way I’d go back to live is if we had a biblical drought, as NY will never run out of water

Yes, but never again. Upstate is better than NYC, but the effects are felt.
