Without getting in my hand comparing a seekins sp10 vs dd5 v4

I think seekins would probably pull ahead in the accuracy department. If you took 10 seekins and 10 dd5v4s and put then against each other I think the average accuracy of the seekins would be better than the average accuracy of of the dd5v4. That's not to say there aren't outliers, but in general...
If you’re more interested in precision while shooting from a bench or prone, I would recommend the SP10. It’s the heavier of the two, and the extra weight along with the way the handguard mates to the receiver will give it an advantage in that type of shooting.
If you’re more interested in moving around and blasting, I would choose the DD5. It feels lighter and handier, and it has a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel.

DD supports red flag laws though. Daniel Defense and Troy are on no fly lists as far as my money is concerned.
That's a nifty rifle that certainly did well for Horner in 3-Gun. But there's just something about 'foam-on-buffer tube' cheek pieces that makes me cringe, especially in a DMR or field role. Mainly the idea of using them anywhere near wet dirt or gravel <LOL>
Putting all other points mentioned above to the side, you need to look outside the box.
When making a purchase you need to look at what a rifle "is" and what it can be. The DD5 is 100% proprietary and even with the overpriced Proof Research barrel offerings accuracy doesn't seem to improve much if any.
The SP10 is user friendly and can be setup in any configuration that best suits you and your shooting needs. If you find yourself shooting more LRP there is no better/easier chassis system to work with, if you want to "Run And Gun" you can drop down to any light weight barrel you want.
The Semi-Monolithic Upper receiver design is going to offer the best accuracy potential with whatever barrel you want to run.
My advice,... the price is going to be the same no matter .308 or 6.5CM so buy the 6.5CM and order a 18" Craddock Rock Creek RTR Barrel in .308
I had very bad luck and poor CS with DD, which is too bad their rifles are so pretty. I have a sp-10 that shoots lights out and is prob one of my fav rifles I have ever owned.
