This has previously been answered in threads, but the Cliff Note version is:
1. SK Jagd and Wolf are made at the same factory in Germany.
2. How they do in QC tests determines which box that lot goes into.
3. SK Jagd Rifle Match > Wolf Match Extra > SK Jagd Std Plus > Wolf Match

I started with Wolf Match and now only shoot SK Std Plus after I had some highly variable Wolf Lots.

I can't tell the difference in how they perform. Tried on 3 different occasions and gave up. MT for me.

MT shoots better in my critter gitter than the ME. cant explain it but my wallet is happier

I made a post about it earlier, but J&G sales has Wolf MT for $4.75 a box, if you buy 10+. Best price I have seen it so far, and most places I looked were out.

Most importantly, find the ammo your particular rifle likes, as some above mentioned, some rifles like cheaper ammo better. Not all, but some.

so much like our own "freedom group" that owns remington, marlin, bushmaster, and a host of companies that you would not believe, the only thing i can get out of the clear as mud chain of events:
1. Wolf is not a manufacturer
2. Wolf is an importer
3. Wolf contracts out various manufacturers to produce ammos for them (for example SK/lapua, Tula-maybe, who knows whomelse) then prints Wolf on the box and markets it as their own.
there really wasn't wolf ammo ever, just a name. like santa claus.
like BUNSEN said above, what determines the difference of Extra and MT is the way the QC dept seperates the lots of ammo. supposedly there is more care and less deviation with the Extra, but like the others mentioned i've actually had better results with the MT compared to the Extra.
i've also noticed a difference in fps between the two, just as with the SK.
interestingly, although the sk and the wolf supposed to be one and the same, (SK Jagd Rifle Match = Wolf Match Extra > SK Jagd Std Plus = Wolf Match) at a single range session a year or two ago, it seemed at least on the chronogragh and deviation numbers and IMO that there are 4 grades of the lapua ammo (just speculation).

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree about the "=" part of your correction. I will agree that the difference is not tremendious, but I contend there exists a difference based on the emperical data I've seen shooting numerous lots of Wolf MT and SK Std Plus. SK > Wolf

You got me thinking/researching. I have read so many times that SK and Wolf made in same factory and is in fact same ammo, I just had to get some evidence to "prove you wrong!"

Read this thread. Don in SC is very fluent in the rimfire world.
I always "knew" that the ammo was made in the same factory with same components, and just the only diff was half the factory was dedicated to Wolf, other half dedicated to SK. Whichever ammo shot better in your rifle for the "=" part of my equation was just likened to the lot at the time and the machine it was built on. So in reality I guess I was a little right. They are obviously not the "EXACT" same ammo, as the same ammo made on different machines can give you markedly different results. I did think they were made with same components though, and Don has done the comparisons of powder to show the differences.
I always just went with SK over Wolf because it was cheaper.
Also, after looking at a review I did on ammo for my 40x, I just tested Wolf. Shoulda tested SK but didnt cause I thought the same. Dang it.

I have a review coming up with different ammo on my new (to me) Anschutz 1407, and this time I will def try all 4 types of ammo.
