Wolf Primers?

Are the wolf primers any good how do they stack up to cci,federal,rem,and win.Thanks

Ask JPBMidas. He uses them in his "favorite 223..." Did a search on "Wolf Primers" and that thread came up.

I have shot 1000s of wolf primers with no issues. In times like this you have to shoot what you can get.

No matter what reloading forum you go to there is at least 1 thread a month on Wolf primers.

They work, some didn't at one point but that mess is over. Sometimes guns with lightened springs don't like them.

If you can find them right now, buy them... end of thread

For gods sake do a google search, I bet there are 20-30 threads alone across the web for this month on Wolf primers

I prefer them to CCI in small rifle when loading on my motorized 1050. They seem to feed better with less issues.
I haven’t noticed a difference in the ammo.

I "hope they're ok". I just got 4k, of them. Only ones I could find. Although, my favorite gun store is finally getting back to normal. They had federals, last time I was there. Got 1K of them, too. Not much powder, but they had "some".

With my .308 I actually get better SD/ES numbers using the Wolf LR primers than I do with the CCI BR-2's. Yes, both loads have been "optimized" for the different primers.

I'm still shooting off some Wolf's I bought several years ago and will be changing to the Tula's "a little birdie told me to buy" back last October

Got a case of them in LR and another in the .223 primers.

If you have them use them with confidence. I know I'm all done buying the CCI's and Fed's for almost twice what the Tula's cost me.

Not to derail the topic but I snagged some Tula primers a couple months ago because that's all I could find. So far they have worked just fine, and I have been producing excellent groups with them. I would definitely purchase them again. Happy hunting

That is all I shoot in my 6mmBR, 6.5mm BR and my PALMA rifle. ES has dropped to single digit.

This whole ammo shortage help me get over being a primer snob. Before I only wanted federal primers but now give me all the wolf tula or fiocchi primers you can find.
