Woo-Hoo! Taxes going up

Just got an email from my company letting us know that Social Security taxes will be increasing 2% for EVERYONE next year....double that if your self employed or do side work.

Actually, they are going back to what they were before Ob**a reduced them as part of the stimulus. They are only going "up" 2% even for the self employed, because the reduction never applied to the employer's half. It was always meant to be a short term "holiday".

Read more on it last night and learned a little more and your correct.

Still though...one of the few positive things he did....should have kept it. I'm sure most will still see it as a Tax Increase which surely wont help Barry O's chances for a 2nd term.


Our company sent out the email so we weren't surprised to see the increase.
