My gunsmith has this awesome wooden hand made gun vice that he uses when working on rifles. I asked him who made it, and went to that person to buy one. But that guy is retired and not making them any more. A google search didnt come up with many hits. Im looking for a nice wooden sturdy gun vice to use when cleaning my gun or mounting scopes etc...Somebody here must know somewhere I can get one.

Pony up a few pictures of your 'smith's vise, as it sounds like that would make you the happiest, and I'll see what I can come up with for materials/labor.

Made in Chinatipakistaniland.....but it's on sale, and comes with a "free" screw driver set.
