Movie Theater Worst Movie you ever saw

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

I took my family to this POS movie on Christmas eve when it came out several years back. Wow what a dissapointment. We left and went home to watch TV. Bill Murray ruined his reputation as funny with this one.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The worst movie I ever seen actually had Bill Murray in it. I am fan of Bill Murray but "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" was the worst movie that always sticks out when someone ask. So there is my worst movie.

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

nothing is as bad as "Rubber" its about a tire that can read minds and kills people in a valley. At the same time a bunch of people are all along the ridge watching whats going on. yea its on netflix im not making this crap up somebody paid money to make this movie happen.

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

I just read every post in this thread and I'm astounded that no one mentioned "The Day the Earth Stood Still" remake.
Maybe I'm just not social-conscious and environmentally friendly.
It's a shame that it shares the same title as the 1951 masterpiece.

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

The worst movie that you can't stop watching...."Rubber", it's about a tire that goes around killing people by making their heads explode by telekinesis. IT'S A MUST WATCH...

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

How about Leonard Part 6, a sort of comedy sort of spy movie that starred Bill Cosby, who disowned it before it came out in theaters and wouldn't acknowledge that it existed.

And Maze, about a guy with Tourette's syndrome, who falls in love with his best friends girlfriend who is pregnant. Every time the guy has a Tourrette's attack, the show it from his point of view and shake the camera around for a while. Having an attack, Rattle Rattle Rattle... That drove me crazy! Like 20 times in the movie.

Plan 9 From Outer Space,,,for all you really old trekies.
Once dubbed the worst movie of all time.

Wobbling hubcaps for flying saucers, a bomb that would explode
sunlight, Lugosi dies during filming, standin holds a vampire cape across his face for remainder of filming.

Doesn't get any better than that...lol

Yea and instead of popcorn, eat chocolate pudding when watching.

Worst ever is Joe vs The Volcano. Beat that!

Im +1 on that one. I saw the thread title and instantly though of that movie. Complete and utter shit. I only stayed in the theater because Id paid money to sit in the comfy seat. Went to sleep to stop the visual torture. </div></div>

Went with a bunch of buddies in high school to see this, and I was the one who picked the movie... I'll never live that down. Awful!

Also, Boondock Saints II was torture to watch.

Rubber is bad, but you cant stop watching. I thought it was pretty funny

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

The ones that looked to be obviously bad I don't even start to watch.

However the worst that I have actually watched, start to finish, was called, "Assassination Tango" with Robert DeNiro. It SUCKED!

I kept waiting for something...meaningful....to happen, and then it was over. IT WAS TERRIBLE.

My wife likes to watch those horror movies that make no sense, but I don't even bother. Some are so bad they are funny at places.

Perhaps the director's Extended Cut version would provide better plop development?

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

For all you guys that like westerns: Django, hands down the worst movie I've seen... It's so bad I've seen it twice (figured I must have missed something). Spoiler alert, if I remember correctly, at one point he chews the trigger guard off of his pistol with his teeth so that he can still fire it with his mangled hand... He's only the second person I've ever seen actually pull off that move!

Re: Worst Movie you ever saw

It's sometimes difficult to list the worst movie you ever saw because sometimes your tastes evolve. For example, when I went to go see "The Thin Red Line" in late 1998, I was expecting a "Saving Private Ryan"-esque version of the battle to retake Guadalcanal. For nearly 3 hours I contemplated walking out, but 14 years later it's now one of my favorites.

Some films are just so bad that they're good. Take for example "Manos: The Hands of Fate", which no one would have seen were it not for the MST3K folks hilariously riffing on it:

In a similar vein, if you were a kid in the 70s you probably remember the flood of crappy sci-fi films that were rushed to theaters right after "Star Wars." My personal favorite was this amazing Roger Corman produced, David Hasselhoff vehicle with the voluptuous Caroline Munroe. When you're 10, it's cool but nowadays is just painfully bad - the only kind of bad that's enjoyable with half a dozen martinis.
