Would upgrading my suppressor or optic help more?

So I'm looking to upgrade either my scope or suppressor for my 6GT build. Right now I have a Specwar 762, looking at a Scythe Ti that would be shorter, lighter and direct thread instead of using a muzzle device and QD. My current scope is the new Gen 2 Athlon Midas Tac 5-30x, and looking at a Gen 2 Razor 4.5-27x or something similar (that's the max budget). Which would make the biggest difference for someone doing light competition shooting and slapping steel at long range just for fun?

The question we are going to ask is what do you feel is limiting you now? I'm going to assume you are just looking for something new with the way you worded the question. Without any details of the why you want to upgrade one of the two other than being lighter and shorter or a nicer scope, I'm going to say go with the scope. Nothing beats better clarity.
The smart ass answer is going to be "Buy More Ammo."

Lighter/shorter can would make the rifle more maneuverable around barricades and a lighter hunting rifle (different gun). The scope is definitely good, but I've never shot a match with something nicer. Obviously people run better options for a reason, but beyond being able to take a shot or two at the range or look at them at Scheels I can't tell the difference myself without the experience.

As Ioveha said this is more a buy more ammo situation than anything else.
The more you compete the more you will know what needs to change.
There is no substitute for time behind the gun.

More experience comes from more shooting.
My first test on any optic I purchase regardless of the price ie a box test.
If you take a shot then dial up 3 mils and take another shot, then left 3 mils then take another shot, then down 3mils then take another shot, then right 3mils and take a final shot. Did you just shoot something that looks like a square? Did your last shot land on top of your first shot?

Have you competed with this setup?
Has the scope been a limiting factor?
I don’t shoot PRS but typically people are trying to add weight to the front of the rifle to get it to balance.
