Would you shoot these rounds or toss them in the trash?

I discovered this while doing a quick census before ordering more ammo. I didn't measure the exact OAL, but it's obviously much shorter than the other rounds. Should I just chuck these in the garbage? Would it be safe to shoot these in an AR instead of my T3x?
Also of note, the tips of the other bullets have green corrosion on them. I've never seen this before from Fiocchi ammo.

Purchased in October, kept in my range tote since then. The heaviest thing to be set on top of this box is my cheap Leupold spotting scope.

Well stated.
I'll pull the bullets and keep the cases. The "shorties" were so loose that I was able to push them deeper into the case with light thumb pressure. A quick sample of the other rounds indicated that the neck tension was strong enough to prevent me from pushing the bullet into the case, even with mild pressure on my wood work bench.

I wouldn't shoot them, seated way in like that can significantly spike pressure. If you want to use them, pull the bullets and weigh the charges, and at least run them in a sizer to put neck tension back where it should be, then check powder charges (or put your own powder in) and seat bullets to spec. If you don't have reloading equipment, have a friend that does do it. If your like me and don't have friends, first off congrats because people are overrated, and secondly store the ammo somewhere that it won't get used until you find a proper way to dispose of it. Or give them to that coworker you don't like*.

Corrosion is whatever. The deep seated stuff is danger zone. AR is probably the worst place to shoot those.

Are they tight down in there?
If it’s pushed through and loose below the neck then just pulling them back up into the neck snug is no problem. Done that myself.
If they are tight that deep then I would toss them because it’s more work than it’s worth to fix.

Def toss them my friend on the seating depth, the green corrosion not a big deal but that is either due to being old or around something that made them corrode faster which isn't uncommon. Even leather dye will make them corrode quicker and get the green on them Iv'e found out first hand...

And, indeed tell the manufacturer if sure it's their fault. We want to encourage improved behavior; they won't fix stuff if they don't know there's a problem.

If you dismantle them, can you ID and/or weigh the powder? Assuming that's the Exacta line from Fiocchi, the 77's shoot 3/8" in my Savage Evo. I just reloaded some of the Fiocchi brass today with 69 TMK's and N140. Brass much harder than FGMM.

I will try to get a few moments to take the rounds apart and weigh the powder for you - and report back. Little kids have most of my time right now.

I had a box of Federal Blue Box in 7x57 that had inconsistent seating, about 1/10”, through the whole box. I emailed a pic and they called me the next day, sent me a shipping label and sent me three new boxes within a week. Of course that was before my wonderful state banned interstate commerce and labeled everything as a carcinogen.
