Doubt it's sold out. No one I know has bought a spot yet. Like you I'm waiting to hear confirmation that it's actually happening before plunking down hard earned money.
If I had to speculate, it's not happening and the owner stopped selling spots on his website with the "Sold Out" label, just to avoid having to refund the money later on.

The PRS Facebook page just cancelled the event, so it looks like it is officially off.
Now I just need to figure out if I'm traveling to Utah or Montana for my third match.
