Hello, after loosing my last two Swedish Pimple Fishing Lures to improper knots or broken lines, I am looking for two models that are no longer made. They are 2 3/4 " to 3" long and are gold or chrome plated. They have a white stripe going down the length on one side. Would be willing to buy new or used, just need some for next ice fishing season. Thanks for looking.

OP, I will walk down to my shed and look, I have a good selection, doubt white stripe ones though.
Could you not paint the stripe on yourself with that paint used to paint dots on pistol sights? It's rugged stuff.
I would think if you took a Dremel with the ss wire brush and roughed up that surface, easy peasy.

Haha, I never bought a gun from them, but SOB did the fishing gear follow me home.

Most of my fishing stuff was used in four lakes.
  1. Waggoner in Philip.
  2. Sheridan lake.
  3. Pactola.
  4. Angostura.

Waggoner was awesome until they shut off the air pump.
Bass any time of year and bluegill on the beds come spring.

Pactola and Sheridan were mostly for ice fishing. The creek channel coming in to Jenny Gulch always produced tons of trout.
Angostura for catfish, smallmouth and walleye after ice-out.

JFC? Not sure what that means...
I did mention walleye at Angostura.

I did fish quite a few other lakes for walleye, bass and pike, but I didn't hit them regularly.
Belle Fourche reservoir, a lake a ways north of Bear Butte, Wall Lake.

Hell, we even fished the base lakes with shiners. That was like fish in a barrel...

I caught Angostura too late,, damage was done, surprised Oahe not on your circuit. Angostura great ice out for walleye.
I got out of fishing in 01, got to be a job, not good, still have 2 new Diawa reels in my pistol safe from Dakotamart, one spinning, one baitcast.
JFC= Jesus Fucking Christ
Belle Fourche is Orman Dam

JFC, shoulda caught that. I say it all the time. :)

Orman, that was it. I left in '04 so some of the names and whatnot are getting fuzzy. Like my eyesight.

Were you stationed at Ellsworth?

Non mil, so no, always admired the place though, I've been to that launchpad SW corner, watching B1's take off. I grew up NW of Minot, USAF planes excite me, lol

Buffs and Bones.
What a great combination when you absolutely have to annihilate something overnight. :)
I've been buzzed by an F16 100ft over my head cultivating a field, I had the cab door open and almost jumped, mfr.

Pilots out of Minot were uncontrollable in the mid 70's, farmers would find full tool boxes in fields, scattered of coarse, scare the living shit out of people.
