WTF Baylor - "Bonding Ritual"

Their just jealous of UT and A&M. One has a tower, the other HAD bonfires.....

Their just good Baptist boys...having a bit of good clean fun....I dont see a problem and neither do the coaches,

Article doesn't say what if anything will or has happened to the football players. Baylor states they have tried to settle this amicably. Fuck you Baylor, Art Briles stating to the volleyball coach "those are some bad dudes .......Why was she around those guys. Oh fuck me that makes my blood boil. That mother fucker needs to be taught a lesson.

I am normally a gentle (giant) type of guy. Not normally a type A guy, but a there are a few people who can attest that when I get going I am all but unstoppable. If that was my daughter AND I didn't see justice happening it would be time for "Operation Wrath of God" part II.

Operation Wrath of God sounds quite appropriate for all involved in this heinous act . No level of torture or violence is to much for a shitbag that would do this , workout an amicable situation or have any party to this .

Am I the only one who remembers the Duke Lacross Rape Case that turned out to be a hoax by a hooker and a grandstanding DA. Let's let the guys at least have their day in court before we convict them.

Operation Wrath of God.

A great start. Not only that, but sounds like a good training regimen for many versatile and interesting applications. Franchise, anyone? Corporate sponsorship available, if you call right now!!!

Oh I remember, and the thought did come to my mind. The article was not about the players but about the school and their reaction. I also remember a story about Jerry Sandusky and How Joe Paterno and Penn State turned a blind eye.

Another lawsuit tabulates what it says were at least 52 "acts of rape" by more than 30 players while Briles was coach.

52 acts of rape is not something that says hoax to me. I know women lie sometimes because they took a 10 to bed and woke up to an 01 because they were dyslexic. but this seems more like a pattern than a hoax.

you are a better man than me because the only justice that would be acceptable to me would be by my righteous hand death.

i think that coach needs to serve with his "boys" for his role in it. people always blaming the victim instead of the convict. Briles response sounds like something Joe Biden came up with.

I am not saying they are innocent. I'm just saying that I have learned not to trust the media enough to convict someone on their say-so. If the evidence stands up in court then I am all for punishing them as allowed by law.

If the "duke" rape case was not enough to convince people that the accused deserve a trial then let me provide another example of the media lying about campus rape. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/11/...niversity-virginia-rape-story-settlement.html Suppose that these accusations were directed at you or your son, you would want them to have their day in court before being punished.

I see what you are saying. And trust me I have stated in other threads, and with my wife that i hate how easy it is for someone to get accused of something (sexual in nature normally) and be ruined. I witnessed it happen to guy this year. Took 8 months for him to get his day in court, judge literally threw it out in under 10 mins. But he lost his job, almost his wife and kids and his life is fucked for the near future.

With that, the article was about the schools reaction. They were aware of the accusations and did nothing. Not an investigation, NOTHING. Same as Penn State did with Sandusky.

All in the name of fucking football. How low have we dropped when a sports program (at an educational facility mind you) is more coveted than a human being.

As for your last question. And you may think I am full of shit on this but I am not and people that know me can attest to what i am about to say. If I had a son (only have a daughter) and he was accused of such things. If he could look at me like a man and tell me he was innocent then i would defend him with everything i have. If he couldn't do that, he would march his ass into court, confess, plead gulity and ask for mercy. And that is no bull shit.
you choose the action, you choose the consequence.

Well i trust our justice system (might be naive). If the accused went to trial and a jury found them innocent i would have to live with that. I dont feel drugs/alcohol is an excuse either.
At this point i am not sure anyone is going to be prosecuted.

As for the coach. Yea he needs to be held down and a dry baseball bat shoved up his ass.

i trust it to an extent. i dont think the sentencing is harsh enough. I would have to have proof before i went off on them but there are times that the system doesnt work. All systems have faults and failures so i am not saying the people are the failure, just the fact that it is a system that is trying to cover such a broad range of crimes under indefinite circumstances.

This is Justice. only got 5 years probation for this.

I do not think you are full of shit. I hope that my tone has not implyied that I think you are anything but decent and honest. I seriously doubt that we would have any disagrement over any punishment a court gives these young men once their guilt is established. I'm just sayn that a story in the media today is not evidence of guilt. In so far as the universitys coddeling the jocks, I think all university athletics should be done away with except those that encourage the entire student body to a higher level of fitness.

If you want to move on to pro sports, I think if the teams want a stadium, then the teams should build and pay taxes on a stadium just like any other business pays taxes on their assets.

If there was any evidence of these rapes the university should have turned it over to the police, if they had evidence and keep it from the police they should be charged with obstruction.

I think we are in agreement. We are just having a discussion, I believe people can do that without getting their panties in a bunch. You didn't upset nor offend me in anyway. Takes a lot more than words on a computer screen to do that.

As far as my "full of shit statement" that was directed at who ever is reading that statement. I just believe if you work hard and do good things you get rewarded and if you do the opposite well you get what you earned. To some it may sound harsh that I would abandon my son. But I don't see it that way. First if he was guilty i would not want to victimize the victim again with a trial. Next I would not want my son to drag my family and all I have worked hard for through the mud. All the accusations of how he was raised, being that I took his Iphone away at age 13 used as valid reason to violate another human. This sounds selfish, but I have learned a couple lessons from watching others in such matters. 1- you can't let your children (adult or doing adult activities) destroy you. 2- from someone who did turn their child in and goes to visit them in prison " I didn't not quit loving my child, but I could not as a human-being condone nor turn a blind eye to what he did".
