Curious whether a Mega upper would fit a LMT AR10 lower? They both are Knight pattern rather than DPMS, but I could never navigate through the AR10 receiver compatibility issues...

No, unfortunately not. However, I have always had good luck with Craddock spun Bartlein barrels. I would not expect anything less from this.

Exactly what lower(s) are compatible? Am an AR15 guy, not super knowledgeable on AR10

I had it on a Mega Maten lower, which is SR25/DPMS (aka LR-308) Pattern. I cannot speak confidently to each individual brand, but it *should* fit a DPMS/SR25 Pattern lower.
