One of the last few built by a great smith.
Teflon coated action and barrel. 23lbs naked.
Blueprinted 700 SA. Side bolt release. Smooth like butter.
Jewell BR trigger, fully adjustable, set at 4oz.
Lilja 27" 11 twist, tight neck .336 (NO Box Ammo in this rifle!) - 1.1" at the muzzle - 128 rds down the pipe.
Custom McMillan A5 - stock weighs 10lbs to perfectly balance the heavy barrel.
Super soft shooter, and very forgiving with loads. These targets were @ 100 yds, but verified the load last weekend out to 1K. Only issue... too heavy to hump her through the mountains.
Includes 100 pieces Lapua brass, properly neck-sized. 1X fired: 48 loaded w/ 168 smk's and 24 with 208 eld-m's. Remaining 28 brass are 2X fired.

Rifle and ammo/brass only - no bipod, rail, or scope.
2000 shipped to your FFL.

Met Clay about 15 years ago in his shop when I lived in Charlottesville. He was mentored by Homer Culver—a man my Dad was friends with and I have memories of as a young boy. All benchrest legends.
Free bump and glws.

Thanks! Just an FYI for those asking about 336 neck as turn vs no-turn.

It's debatable... 3433 is SAMMI. 336 is the minimum for no-turn, but I did turn this brass a bit for concentricity. You need .308 plus 2XBrass neck thickness + 2 thou minimum, so you'd have to measure to see if you can use your brass without turning it. If you wanted to shoot factory ammo, the chamber could be cleaned up with the reamer of choice.

Also, if you wanted to convert to a magnum, I have a mag-face fluted LRI bolt with Sako extractor that I could add for 250 extra. Then you could ream the barrel for 300 WSM / WM / PRC, or screw a new one on in the magnum of choice, and keep the 308 separate. Honestly the rifle is really nice as is - once I shot it, I couldn't bring myself to alter it.
